Because of increased obesity, lifestyle and pressure disease in the current society, many people turn to better health, to live longer, healthier life. Your overall health includes all aspects of mental, social and physical health. Choosing better health does not only mean eating healthier, or active, it also means enough sleep, avoiding drugs and smoking, limiting alcohol intake, managing stress and keeping your brain active. It’s easy to improve certain health fields such as diet and fitness but if you really want better health, you must try to increase all fields of your lifestyle.

Get Fit.
Sports are an important part of any lifestyle. To have better health, you must do some kind of physical activity for at least 30 minutes a day. There are good types of exercises but for those who do not like to exercise other types of daily activities including walking your dog, tasks around the house such as cleaning, gardening, dancing, etc. Whatever makes your body move, you pump blood and can work with sweat can be considered adequate exercise.

Healthy eating
Placing the most nutritious food in your body is the best way to maintain optimal health. Fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fat will make your body and brain function optimally. Choose a fresh food source if possible and try to avoid additional foods and sugar.

Enough sleep
It is said that everyone needs 8 hours of sleep every night to regenerate and rejuvenate the body and mind. Sleep is an important part of one’s health so you need to sleep enough to achieve better health.

Manage Stress
It’s hard not to have stress in your life today but it’s important to learn how to manage it than let it take over. If you don’t learn how to manage your stress, it can cause anxiety, depression, anger, or even turn into physical symptoms such as headaches, nausea and fatigue. Find time to relax or choose activities to release tension and relieve stress such as yoga or meditation, breathing inside. Managing stress is needed to get better health.

Avoid drugs, stop smoking, limit alcohol
Alcohol, medicines and cigarettes are all harmful to the body and brain. If you really want better health, then kick the habit. Discard your cigarette, discard your alcohol and avoid drugs including prescription drugs (consult our doctor before stopping any medication). Your body will be grateful and will live a happier and healthier life for it.

Stay sharp
Your brain is the same as your body needs to stay active to stay sharp and strong. To do this, you need to stimulate it every day.
